Fun of the Fair…Melly and Me Pattern Book Review and Giveaway
Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I was so excited when Rosie, from Stitch Craft Create, asked me to be a part of a blog hop for a new book release…Fun of the Fair!
Melanie McNeice is the talented Australian pattern designer of Melly and Me. She creates adorable sewing patterns and fun fabrics, so we can create our own handmade items to share with family and friends.
Here is her newest book…
This book is filled with adorable circus themed stuff animal patterns for you to create, sew and cherish!! You can sew your own pony, elephant, lion, seal and monkey. The patterns for each design are clear and concise with step by step directions, pictures and tip and tricks along the way.
All the animals are so cute, but these seals have to be my favorite!! They are the perfect huggable size for any little one, finishing at 10 inches tall and 12 1/2 inches long.
My daughter Courtney loves elephants and this little one is on my "to do" list to tuck in her Christmas stocking. Did I mention my daughter is 23 years old. These cuties are great for all ages…young or old. The elephant comes in 2 sizes too.
This adorable lion many look difficult with all the stitching and added trim, but he's not. There is a whole guide with all the stitching techniques you'll need.
The book has all the templates you'll need too. By using different fabrics and trims, the design possibilities are endless!!
